Antiplatelet agents did not affect the risk of death of the fetus or baby, the size of the baby, or bleeding events in either the mothers or their babies.

So why not consider reductions in the relative risk of pre-eclampsia, of birth before 34 weeks’ gestation, and of having a pregnancy without possibility of a serious adverse outcome.

As reported in the journal Pediatric Nephrology, a study has processed between 48 women of Montreal and 46 of Bangalore (India), blood retinol (Vitamin A) levels and nutritional level were assessed at every stage of pregnancy. It is found that retinol levels were lower in the Bangalore group compared with the Montreal group, at the same time; researchers found that the infants in Bangalore had smaller kidneys than their equivalent in Montreal.

On the other hand, Dr. Kishore Phadke from St. John’s Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, told Reuters Health that vitamin A enhancements are not habitually suggested for expectant women in India, because of the low medical range. He said, “Excess vitamin A supplementation can cause (harmful effects) in the growing fetus and this makes universal supplementation of vitamin A difficult in pregnant women.”
