The seaweed spa therapy is aboriginal to the west coast of Ireland since the early 20th century. This therapy is very helpful in attracting customers to the west coast of Ireland. They are continuing to offer seaweed bath and porcelain bath from 1912.The visitors are advised to take the experience of bath in a wooden steam chamber and end it with a cold seawater shower for five minutes.

Medical herbalist Rosari Kingston says that the seaweed bath are specially good for detoxification, declining of fluid retention, heal wounds, leg ulcers and helps in reducing weight.
