The seaweed spa therapy is aboriginal to the west coast of Ireland since the early 20th century. This therapy is very helpful in attracting customers to the west coast of Ireland. Medical herbalist Rosari Kingston says that the seaweed bath are specially good for detoxification, declining of fluid retention, heal wounds, leg ulcers and helps in reducing weight.
