<p>Studies a few years ago had pointed out how this substance was important for the prevention of malformations in children that’s why the advice to take it during pregnancy, one to three months conception. The current study, presented during the event which was held in Spain at the European Nutrition Conference in Madrid, was conducted by researchers at Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam (Netherlands), and led by Dr. Henning Tiemeier. Scientists have discovered how folic acid is important, not only in preventing birth defects, also in the mood and child behaviors.<span id="more-5116"></span></p>
