Tai Chi & Qigong Workshop

The announcement was made in the hospitals for the Tai Chi and Qigong classes. Qigong is something that aims at studying and practicing for enlightening internal essential energy for maintaining health and wellness. Whereas Tai Chi is the martial art form of Qigong. Tai Chi is also called as the “moving meditation”. The Tai Chi and Qigong is designed for new comers and for veterans.
Raritan Bray Medical Center’s Department of Integrative Medicine has announced to offer a weekly workshop series. This workshop series is divided into five parts. “Wellness through Tai Chi and Qigong,” is also opened at the hospital’s Perth Amboy campus, 530 New Brunswick Ave. This hospital will remain open for five consecutive Mondays, from July 28 to August 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. Those who want to register for any or all classes can register their name. Cost is $20 per person for one conference, $35 for two, $45 for three, $50 for four, $55 for all five. In the first class they will teach standing meditation and a Tai Chi Qigong exercises. In the second they will give focus on mind-body strength. The third will discover the values in greater depth. The fourth will look at techniques to improve arthritis supervision, and the last will focus on aerobics for the heart and lungs.
