Health Training & Learning Center By Bella Fontana Spa

The unique opportunity was given by the Bella Fontana Spa for learning about health in downtown Sherman. The Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Dallas Chapter has also offers the professional caregiver for teaching the class. The Professional Care provider Class will be starting from August 13, 2008 in the Pat Nuckols Community Room of Bella Fontana Spa. The Bella Fontana Spa is situated at 101 East Jones, just a block off the square in downtown Sherman. This course is specially designed for those people who provide services to persons with dementia, and to those who includes a wealth of information about Alzheimer’s disease. This class will also provide many opportunities for care providers to share their knowledge with each other.
This course will start from 9am to 3pm with a one-hour break for lunch. The course gives important information to home and hospital nurses and aides, sitters, nurse aides or accompanying person who care for people with any kind of dementia. Their actual fee for the professional caregiver class is $25. For assuring adequate materials are available or not pre-registration is necessary for membership. Registration will be done on first come basis.
